Rev. James Orange passed February 16, 2008 
A Memorial Service was held on Friday, February 22, 2008
at St. Peter Missionary Baptist Church
The Funeral Services were
Saturday, February 23, 2008, at the Martin Luther King,
Jr. Chapel on the campus of Morehouse College
Rev. Orange was a member of The SCLC/W.O.M.E.N., Inc. National Board of
Directors; Transportation Director of The Evelyn Gibson Lowery Civil Rights Heritage Tour since 1987, where a monument was
erected by SCLC/W.O.M.E.N., Inc., for him in 2002;and a Member of The Mission Board of The Joseph E. Lowery Institute for
Justice and Human Rights, on the campus of Clark Atlanta University.
A public memorial for Yolanda King was held on May
24, 2007
